Expecting Parents
Congratulations!
Starting a family or welcoming another child into your family is an exciting time. We would like to assist you in your process of choosing the best pediatric practice for your family.
We are here for you and your family.
We are excited and honored that you are considering us for your child’s care. It is always special for us to be invited by new parents to join in the care of a family member. The continuity of care and the amazement of watching a baby grow and develop into a wonderful child is one of the primary reasons that we all feel privileged to work in pediatrics.

Please Bring The Following To Your First Appointment
- Any paperwork from the hospital, including hearing screen results and immunization records.
- Any available insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit).
- Plenty of diapers and an extra set of clothes.
- New patient forms that are completed before the visit help streamline your visit.
Here’s what you need to know when the big day comes!
Once you have delivered your baby they will be seen by the hospital staff pediatrician for the first examinations.
The hospital staff will provide your baby with a vitamin K shot, routine hearing screen, blood test for state newborn screening and offer Hepatitis B vaccination. We encourage all patients to receive the first Hepatitis B vaccine at the hospital.
Once you know your discharge date, please call to schedule your first appointment with us the day you are being discharged from the hospital.
The first visit in our office is 1-3 days after you leave the hospital.
